This beautiful flower got its name after the Greek Goddess Iris, meaning rainbow. She acted as a messenger between heaven and earth. Iris flower is a symbol of faith, hope, wisdom, inspiration, cherished friendship, my compliments and promise in love. The Iris flower is the February birth flower and the 25th wedding anniversary flower.

Purple Iris note card was produced by combination of letterpress and embossing from hand engraved die. How you recognize a hand made die you may ask... Well, note the multilevel relief of the impression on the paper, that's the true sign.

Purple Iris note note card features deckle edge, resembling the times when all the paper was hand made only. It pairs with olive green textured envelope.
